The NexBlue Point 2 Tethered is a compact 7.4kW smart home EV charger designed specifically for the UK market. Supplied with an integrated 7.5m Type 2 charging cable, it combines intelligent load management, solar surplus charging and flexible connectivity with a sleek, robust design.

The NexBlue Point 2 Tethered 7.4kW EV Charger provides smart, convenient and reliable electric vehicle charging for UK homes.

Designed for single-phase domestic installations, the Point 2 delivers adjustable charging from 1.4kW up to 7.4kW, with a maximum output of 32A. The tethered version comes complete with a generous 7.5m integrated Type 2 charging cable and cable management hook, making everyday charging simple and convenient.

The Point 2 offers a range of smart charging features, including local and cloud load management and solar surplus charging, helping users make better use of available power and renewable energy. It is also ready for ISO 15118 vehicle communication, Plug & Charge and V2G applications, helping to provide a future-ready EV charging solution.

Connectivity is extensive, with Wi-Fi, built-in 4G eSIM, Ethernet, Bluetooth and Nexus RF, alongside local OCPP 1.6-J and OCPP 2.0.1 support. Charging can be started using the myNexBlue App, RFID, NFC, Plug & Play or AutoCharge, providing flexibility for different users and installations.

Designed with UK installations in mind, the NexBlue Point 2 incorporates PEN fault protection and residual current protection including 6mA DC and 30mA AC detection. Its IP54 and IK10 ratings provide additional protection for outdoor installations, while the unit is backed by a 5-year warranty.
